The 2013 Retail Conference on the 24th September at Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre is set to be an essential learning tool for the retail industry to analyse, innovate and implement new retail systems and technologyinto their businesses.
With internationally renowned expert speakers in the retail industry keen to share their knowledge, delegates can expect to develop a comprehensive understanding of new retail processes, and how they can be implemented within their own roles.
Charles Hornor, Communications Director at Specsavers, and this year’s Keynote speaker will provide an insight into how their company has expanded from an empty warehouse in 2007, to over 280 stores as of June 2013. As part of the original team of four who introduced Specsavers into the Australian market in 2007, Charles has been a driving force in one of the fastest store roll-out programs in Australian retail history, and the subsequent investment of $150 million into the Australian economy.
Many leading experts in the retail industry are to share their experience throughout the extensive Conference program, including David Fenner, GM of Retail Solutions at Motorola (ANZ), as well as Hans Hulsbosch, Executive Creative Director of the branding and design powerhouse HULSBOSCH.
By reflecting upon the HULSBOSCH experience with iconic brands Woolworths, Caltex and Rebel, Hans will explain the importance of identifying business problems with a brand expert. Hans will also elaborate on how a business’ commercial objectives can be directly addressed using a mix of sound brand strategy and creative communications which understand and respect the consumer brand relationship.
